This book reminds me of my grandma and all the stories I've heard about Belo Horizonte before I was born. It also reminds me of another book, authored by Helena Morley, about her childhood and simple life in Diamantina.

I enjoyed a lot reading this wonderful story. The most interesting was that I felt exactly as living and walking in an ancient colonial town in Brazil. I loved the character Minga,
